I came here on a recommendation from my sibling who said that I absolutely HAD to have the waffles. I was feeling a little skeptical since I'm usually never a big fan of waffles but I have to say the ones here are exceptional -- a perfect combination of moist and crispy. Since the first time we've gone back at least 2-3 times just for these amazing waffles. Each time I've gone in, seeing the owners has been just as much of a delight as the waffles themselves. They're very friendly and make me feel right at home without being overbearing at all.
As far as recommendations for waffles go, I'm partial to anything with fruit on it but I'm sure you can't go wrong no matter what toppings you choose. I haven't had their coffee yet but I'm looking forward to trying it during my next visit! -

Came down to Fort Wayne for Father's Day weekend and my MIL recommended we come here to try the coffee & waffles. We loved this place! Very knowledgeable about coffee & their waffles aren't traditional waffles, they are a Belgium waffle that doesn't need syrup. They were delicious & great coffee! We will be back when we are in town. Great addition to FW.

Decent coffee and waffles. It's a little slow, but waffles are made to order. Customer service is missing. Literally no one in the place and they don't bother bringing the items to the tables or checking in with customers any of the times I have been here. One of our waffles fell on the floor before anyone even took a bite...they didn't bother to offer to remake it and had basically no reaction. Very strange. Obviously the fault lies with us for clumsiness....but they just stood around with not one customer for a full 20 min after it happened. Literally nothing to do. My kids kept loudly saying "mom are they remaking yours?" And just said no, I'll eat at home. Why not remake it? If your profit margins are so thin that you can't offer customer service you need a new model. It's a cute place but I don't expect it to be around for long.

The coffee and waffles were superb. I would have given it a higher rating except for 2 picky things. First, I was served my coffee in a to go cup. Since I ordered waffles, I would have expected and appreciated my coffee in a regular coffee cup. The other thing was we sat outside to eat our breakfast. I came in to ask about the dishes. Was told that I should bring my dishes inside and put them in the plastic container. For a breakfast that cost over $20 for coffee and waffles, I actually would have expected someone to clear my dishes and not expect me to do it. It would have been a nice courtesy.

Coffee was good, waffles are delicious but don't take your kids there. Owner asked for kids not to touch or lean on the walls because they get dirty. My kids were not rowdy or even running around but God forbid their grimy little handprints get on the wall and he actually has to clean it. I was also with someone who said she has heard him say this to other families as well. I will give my business to other establishments like Conjure, fortezza, Mocha Lounge who encourage families to enjoy their time while at their shops.
